Give both suppliers the same representative package and ask the estimator to perform the same tasks. Their official pages establish that both belong in a mechanical estimating conversation; those pages do not justify a numerical ranking.
Compare:
- How the project-specific material and labour structure is configured.
- How takeoff evidence remains visible after an estimate changes.
- How alternative specifications and addenda affect the estimate.
- Whether exported quantities, labour and cost codes reconcile.
- How new estimators learn the process and how expert users override it.
- The complete cost of the required modules, data and support.
Record observed outcomes, not salesperson adjectives. If a requirement is not demonstrated, mark it “not yet evidenced”. Do not turn that into either a perfect score or a claim of technical impossibility.
