Copy-and-complete brief:

We want to improve [one workflow] for [defined project/work type]. Our current baseline is [measured human effort and error/rework evidence] across [documented cases]. The output must enter [system/template] with [required source links, units and approval]. We will provide [authorised inputs and reference estimates]. The pilot must demonstrate [agreed acceptance conditions], including [revision/exception/recovery cases]. The decision owner is [role], the implementation allowance is [approved amount or unknown], and excluded work is [scope]. Please propose a bounded pilot, full cost schedule, data flow, named delivery roles and exit deliverables.

Request the evidence first and compare like-for-like scopes. Search phrases such as “commercial HVAC estimating software implementation,” “mechanical estimating workflow consultant,” “PDF schedule extraction pilot” and “estimate to job costing integration” are more useful when accompanied by that brief.
