Does an estimator vacancy prove a contractor needs automation?

No. A vacancy identifies work a company wants someone to perform; it does not establish a backlog, an automation budget or a willingness to replace the role.

Use hiring evidence to ask better operational questions. A business may be replacing a departing estimator, entering a market, adding succession cover or building technical judgement that software cannot provide. The buying decision still needs the contractor's own bid volume and effort data.
