Is the wider market investing in AI?

AGC/Sage's January 2026 outlook reports that 61% of respondents were using AI or planned to increase investment, up from 44% in the previous survey. The sample was 951 construction firms, with fieldwork in November–December 2025; it is not a measure of AI quoting adoption among 10–200-person HVAC installers. AGC/Sage release

Use that finding as background for asking about technology plans. Do not label every estimator vacancy an AI buying signal or treat broad construction sentiment as a target-market conversion forecast.
